“Our wedding was, in a few words, breathtaking, magical, stunning, surreal, amazing. It was everything we wanted and more. While we were originally supposed to get married in May 2020, our November 2020 wedding worked out so much better than we could have imagined. Our guests were absolutely blown away by everything - as were we - and being in Magic Kingdom with only our 50 guests was a once in a lifetime experience!”

We’re excited to share highlights from Anne and Robert’s wedding day. From her magical entrance via Cinderella’s Coach, to exchanging vows in such an iconic location, to the intimate celebration with their closet family and friends, and a dreamy Epcot portrait session!

When it came to planning a wedding, Anne shared that she’d always wanted a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. “We actually didn't ever consider any other venue - the fact that Disney was a "one stop shop" where we could have a stress free, perfect experience from start to finish was ideal for us.”

We always encourage our couples to think about how they want to feel on their wedding day and how they want their guests to feel on their wedding day. This helps guide couples as they make decisions about their wedding experience. Anne shared that, “The most important aspect of our wedding to us was ensuring our guests had a wonderful time at a place we love so dearly. We wanted to make sure our food was spectacular, the venue was perfect, and the overall experience was something unique and special.”

“Our favorite moment of the big day, other than walking down the aisle and actually getting married, was getting into Cinderella's Coach after our "I Dos" and being able to finally breathe. Having the wedding postponed and dealing with the stress of Covid made us believe, at one point, that we wouldn't be able to have the wedding of our dreams, so that moment just meant so much to us. We also hadn't seen each other since the rehearsal dinner the night before, so we were so happy to be able to be alone for a few minutes!”

“The focus was primarily on our guests, but that focus allowed us to feel like guests at our own wedding, and have that incredible experience as well! We also made sure we encouraged our guests to visit the parks before and after the wedding - really make it their own vacation - which they all did, and raved about.

We love when couples and their wedding guests embrace all the magic of a destination wedding at Walt Disney World. This allows them to escape reality, be fully present and create even more happy memories that will last a lifetime.

Anne and Robert ended their week of wedding festivities with a wedding portrait session at Epcot. This is an exclusive opportunity for couples who marry with Disney Weddings. It's the chance to go into a Disney Park of their choice, before it opens to guests, to take wedding photos. This is great because you get stunning wedding portraits but it also gives you the freedom to relax on your wedding day and enjoy celebrating with your guests. Anne and Robert chose to stop countries like France, Morocco, Japan and Italy to capture magical wedding photos.
