Bright florals, an intimate setting, card games, and bread bowls? We want an invite! Keep reading to discover all the magical details of Madeline and Nathan’s wedding at Disneyland.
Madeline and Nathan’s wedding had been a long-awaited celebration ever since their March 2020 engagement. A Disney-loving couple and avid Walt Disney World guests, the two had planned a trip to Disneyland where Nathan proposed underneath the "Adventure is out there!" sign at Pixar Pier. Ever since, Madeline and Nathan dreamed of starting their new adventure at Disneyland.
Madeline and Nathan had an intimate open-aired ceremony at Parkview Terrace at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa. Madeline carried a bright, whimsical floral bouquet of pink, peach, and yellow flowers with a hidden pearl Mickey pin. The florals popped against the other gardenesque greenery that adorned both the aisle and trellis, creating quite the romantic ambiance.
The romantic setting continued at Brisa Courtyard where the couple had a gorgeous, family-oriented reception. Located underneath one of the monorail trackways, the ceremony’s floral story continued throughout the reception. Detailed with twinkling string lights, friends and family celebrated with card games and celebrated the long awaited marriage!
For dinner, Madeline and Nathan chose a customized buffet option. They requested dishes that represented them, along with a special request of mini bread bowls with broccoli cheese soup. Madeline shared, “All of our guests loved the bread bowls and it felt special having one of our favorite park dishes on our wedding day!”
Rounding out their wedding with a full circle moment, the happy couple also chose to have a Park Portrait Session at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park, right in the place where Nathan proposed. This unique, distinctly Disney opportunity was explained by Madeline as the “most magical part of our wedding weekend” and gave them “memories to last a lifetime!”
