For Nicole, a Disney Wedding was a literal dream come true. She had dreamed of a Disney Wedding ever since a family trip to Walt Disney World in 1999 when she told her father, “I was going to be married there one day, and he agreed! From that day on…our family would always comment "that's the spot where Nicole is getting married one day!"

Nicole and Joe’s wedding day at Walt Disney World was full of surprises and so much love! Keep scrolling to learn more about their special day.

When it came to planning their Disney Wedding, the couple shared that, “The most important aspect was [the] guest experience! We wanted our guests to experience the Disney magic that we love when we vacation at Walt Disney World…we started to get creative on ways to spoil our guests' five senses all day long!”

One of the ways Nicole and Joe delighted their guests was by keeping the wedding venue locations a secret. Italy Isola, the immersive Italian Pavilion at EPCOT, was the first surprise of the day and the backdrop to their wedding ceremony.

From there, Nicole and Joe surprised their wedding guests by inviting them to join them in Germany for some very special treats. The guests made the short walk to colorful pavilion and enjoyed delicious cinnamon buns inspired by Gaston’s Tavern and other delectable sweets and snacks.

After leaving EPCOT, the celebration continued at Atlantic Dance Hall. The vintage dance hall features multi-levels, two large terraces overlooking Crescent Lake, and a checkerboard dance floor perfect for dancing!

Nicole and Joe described their reception: “We laughed, danced, ate mickey waffles, and enjoyed "Crescent Lake crushes" at the Atlantic Dance Hall for a brunch reception.”

Later that night Nicole and Joe regrouped with their family and friends for a Dessert Party at Terrace des Fleurs France in EPCOT to view fireworks and enjoy their favorite theme park treats – which included mickey pretzels, novelty ice creams and mickey shaped rice krispy treats.

Nicole recalls of the moment, “I cried the entire show! The lyrics in the music were so relatable to how I felt and how my "spark of imagination" turned into a reality. I have never in my 21 years of going to Disney seen their fireworks that close and personal! With tears in my eyes, I kept saying to Joe, "I can't believe this is happening!"

Finally, to end the day of wedding festivities, Nicole and Joe surprised all their wedding guests with an attraction mix-in (this is when you reserve an attraction and you get to ride with all your wedding guests!) on Soarin’.

This is what Nicole and Joe said of the special moment, “One of our favorite moments was  surprising every single one of our guests with a ride mix-in on Soarin. The cheering, laughter and excitement that was felt when we told them and as we walked onto the ride, is something neither of us will ever forget. I mean, does it get any better than walking through the park with your family and friends while enjoying a private attraction together??!!”

As Disney’s Boardwalk Inn was Nicole’s family’s “home resort” with Disney Vacation Club, it only made sense that the couple would take wedding portraits along the iconic water-front Boardwalk.

“Our wedding day was truly the most magical, perfect and surreal day of our and our families lives. It was an entire day filled with the most love and extraordinary magic I have ever experienced at Walt Disney World. It was the BEST family vacation we have ever been on!”
