Britney & Kory drew inspiration from The Princess & the Frog to transform the Rose Court Garden into a fairy tale atmosphere. Keep reading for all of the magical details.
Britney & Kory’s wedding day began with a delicious in-room breakfast setup while they got ready with their bridal party at the Disneyland Hotel. Afterwards, they shared a special first look with each other amidst the beautiful trees and foliage.
To represent the Bayou, the couple incorporated colors of green and white all throughout the day. For their Rose Court Garden ceremony, the gazebo was adorned with a lush floral installation filled with heavy greenery, flourishing white roses, and blooming magnolia flowers. White rose petals were also scattered down the aisle for a delicate touch. The couple shared that “it was our version of The Princess & the Frog, all white flowers with smooth jazz music playing in the background.” Both the bridesmaids and groomsmen were dressed in different shades of green, providing a beautiful contrast with the bride and groom’s all-white attire.
For a unique and interactive detail, the couple also included programs inspired by a New Orleans newspaper.
After their romantic ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed light bites and smooth jazz music before heading to the reception at Disneyland Hotel's Magic Kingdom Ballroom. Place settings each had a light wooden chair, green napkin, and coach name plate. Elegant draping lined the walls with glowing candles and beautiful floral atop each table. Britney & Kory shared that the addition of the magnolia flowers gave “the Magic Kingdom Ballroom such a magical smell.”
The rest of the night was filled with dancing & delicious food. Most importantly, Britney & Kory were surrounded by loved ones as they celebrated their milestone. The couple shared it was the “perfect ending to the most magical love story.”
