Prior to park opening, Joseph and AJ said “I do” against a magnificent display of color reflected in their seating choice, coordinating floral down the aisle, & a custom lighting package to top off the event.
After their ceremony, the newlyweds met their friends and family at Town Square for a magical surprise.
Joseph and AJ shared with us that an important aspect for them “was the ability to customize and theme our wedding. Disney is all about storytelling, and the magic makers at Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings helped us bring our vision to reality. We both love the “Magic Happens” Parade so we made the theme of our wedding ‘Magic Happened.’” To play into their theme even more, the newlyweds surprised their guests with a private “Magic Happens”-inspired experience fit with its opening theme song, live dancers, and even a parade float featuring special guest Mickey Mouse!
The couple continued to celebrate all throughout the evening during their Fantasmic! inspired reception. Gorgeous uplighting mimicked starlight against the velvety, dark drapes.
After dinner and cake, the couple continued to surprise their guests with “a special VIP viewing of World of Color followed by a private dessert party in Pixar Pier.” Joseph & AJ also included an attraction mix-in at Toy Story Midway Mania for their guests to experience, sparking some friendly competition of seeing who could achieve the highest score.
It was surely a night to remember in many ways. For guests, the constant surprises that Joseph & AJ had in store created a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For the couple, it marked the start of the rest of their love story.
