IMMERSIVE SETTINGS
One of the most popular wedding trends is epic and immersive backdrops for your wedding event. And, Ashley and Jon definitely achieved that with their wedding venue selection.
The couple chose Disney’s Animation Building for their wedding ceremony and reception. This magical venue is located at Disney California Adventure and features immersive rooms that celebrate the animation journey and process of creating a Disney film.
With the variety in rooms and backdrops, there was no shortage of stunning portrait backdrops!
The room where the wedding ceremony and reception took place features continuously changing animation projected on hanging panels of various sizes that lends life, movement and fantasy to wedding festivities.
Ashley shared of their wedding venue: “One of the reasons why I LOVE that room is that it is surrounded by all of these screens that play so many of Disney's most iconic movies. With every scene change, the colors and ambiance in the room change.”
FUN-FILLED EXPERIENCES
Another popular wedding trend—is the idea of creating up-beat and ebullient atmosphere at your wedding through entertainment, food and beverage and experiences. Ashley and Jon were able to facilitate this environment for their wedding guests, not only through their venue selection, but through the rest of their wedding details as well.
‘We wanted something memorable for everyone! We served Mickey pretzels and had a churro station which was a big hit, we had cocktails we themed and named after both Disney movies as well as our two precious pups, and we had Mickey and Minnie join the party for cake cutting and meet and greets! Then, we ended the night walking all of our guests into the gates of Disneyland, walking through Sleeping Beauty's Castle and riding Peter Pan as many times as our guests wanted!’
