If you’re a fan of pink and your wedding dreams include romantic florals and all the shades of blush—then Steph and Travis’ Disney Wedding is the perfect inspiration!
Steph and Travis hosted a Valentine worthy Disney Wedding at Disneyland Resort in California. It was a true fairy tale, from an enchanting wedding ceremony at Rose Court Garden, riding off in the Crystal Coach, celebrating their “I do’s” with a dreamy wedding reception at Sleeping Beauty Pavilion, to capping off their wedding week with a magical Park Portrait Session inside of Disneyland Park.
“We’ve created such beautiful, fun and engaging memories with Disney. Disney is more than a classic film, a Mickey shaped snack, an amusement park, or a pair of Minnie Ears - Disney is where we fell in love with each other’s inner child, imagination and hearts.”
Steph and Travis’ wedding day was marked by romantic moments between the two of them, from an emotional first look, to a private dance, and incorporated subtle nods to their favorite Disney love stories.
After their tear-jerking first look and some stunning portraits with the Crystal Coach, Steph and Travis were ready to join their wedding guests for a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Rose Court Garden.
The Disney wedding venue was fit for a fairy tale, featuring white garden chairs and clusters of blush and white floral which adorned the gazebo and lined the back row.
Wedding days are an opportunity to celebrate your love story in unique and meaningful ways. Steph and Travis chose to do this with a beautiful exchange of the “Ellie Badge” – a token represented in the Pixar movie, UP. At the start of the film, Ellie gives Carl a grape soda pin badge when they become explorer buddies. As she hands over the badge, Ellie says, “You and me, we're in a club now” – a sign of the friendship and companionship.
“Our exchange of the “Ellie Badge” was very important to us. Up is our favorite Disney Pixar film. The heart, charm and silliness that the film embodies is how we interpret our love.”
The romance didn’t end there! The couple’s wedding reception exuded romantic vibes, while honoring their love for Disney, and incorporating all things pink.
The sweetheart table was the standout—backdropped by a stunning pink floral wall and decorated with custom sign. A seamless white dance floor elevated the room, while upgraded chivari chairs and draping with fairy lights added to the romantic ambiance.
Each table included a Disney touch, from the Mickey shaped cookie wedding favor to the table names which were inspired by different Disney Parks and lands.
“I’m reminded of how grateful I am. All of this for Travis and I? I could have never imagined this much love and magic packed into just one day! Our wedding day is my favorite core memory!!”
To end their romantic wedding celebration and their Disneyland trip, Steph and Travis added a wedding portrait session inside of Disneyland Park.
“Although our park photoshoot wasn’t on our wedding day (just a few days after), it was such a perfect way to end our trip before heading back home to Hawaii. The perfect wrap up for the most magical trip possibly ever! Photos from our castle park shoot are our FAVORITE photos!”
