There’s not many who can say their love story literally began in Magic Kingdom, but for Kylie and Clayton it actually did. The two met on Kylie’s birthday during a trip to Walt Disney World while standing in line for Space Mountain. Three years later, to the day, Clayton proposed in New Orleans Square at Disneyland with a caricature drawing “so that we would have something to truly capture the moment.”

When it came time to plan their wedding, Clayton was the one to encourage Kylie to look into Disney Weddings. “My mom and I then attended the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Showcase in 2019. It was something that we originally didn't believe possible but as we looked into it saw it was very doable. The sentiment of Disney was something no other venue could match and we also loved how Disney was able to take care of everything. It allowed us to just enjoy the day and not worry.”

Kylie and Clayton’s wedding vision? They shared that they wanted a “relatively simple wedding while hitting all of our favorite notes from the typical weddings.”

One of Clayton’s favorite memories was “when Kylie entered the Wedding Pavilion, it seemed as if everything else in the room faded.  I immediately locked in on her.  She was absolutely stunning and made me forget that I was supposed to wait for her parents to say their part of the ceremony before walking down to her.”

“We had a wedding that very much felt like us a couple a lot of fun, great food, and of course some Disney. The Disney Weddings team did an amazing job giving enhancements to our vision without ever losing sight of what were like as a couple. The caricature artist brought back the feeling of getting engaged and how we’re wanting to truly spend our lives together. It felt like some Disney magic personally created for us.”

We love when couples find ways to personalize moments throughout their wedding day. Kylie and Clayton took the opportunity to make their first dance even more special. “I [Clayton] actually wrote our first dance song and Kylie was insistent that we use the song. So as we were dancing together, hearing her sing the words and melody that I wrote was truly a unique experience. As a musician, I always used playing music as an excuse to avoid dancing, and now I look back on our first dance as one of the best moments of my life.”

“They always say to marry your best friend and Clayton and I believe we are each other's best friend, number one fan, and person that feels like home.”
