The couple’s big day started out celebrating their love with a small number of family and friends on Paradise View Terrace. Brian shared his favorite moment of the day was, “watching Kerry walk down the aisle towards me...she was so stunning that I couldn't help it but to cry.” Their ceremony was adorned with lush green and white floral arrangements, and white floral petals scattered down the aisle for an elegant touch.
After their romantic ceremony the couple and their guests enjoyed a pre-reception that included a late-night Disney Park snacks like Mickey Pretzels to Churros, before entering their reception held at the Wedding Garden at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
To represent Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Kerry and Brian “took inspiration from the nature of California so the wedding had a rustic, but classic, green and white look and feel.” Kerry and Brain shared, “Because of our love of [Disney's Grand Californian Hotel] we knew that all our venues had to be there.”
A long elegant, wooded table decorated with green and white florals. Place settings each had a dark wooden chair, a green place napkin, and white floating candles that provided an ethereal ambience to their reception.
For a unique detail, Kerry and Brian included custom cocktail napkins with a design of their pets so they could be included in their celebration.
The newlyweds cut into their wedding cake inspired by, “the reflection of [Disney's] Grand Californian Hotel-stained glass doors,” with delicious layers of churro filling adding that extra Disney touch. Kerry & Brian shared, “When we saw our cake for the first time, I think our jaws dropped and we squealed with excitement."
Kerry & Brian felt an important aspect of their wedding day was, “keeping the event authentic to ourselves... we wanted to make sure that everything took place at [Disney's Grand Californian Hotel] and outdoors since that is our favorite resort and what we always envisioned.”
The rest of the evening was filled with live entertainment to enjoy with their closest family and friends. “Every little detail came together to create an intimate event to celebrate our love!”
