“When I was 18, I did the Disney College Program in Florida where I met some of the best friends I have made in my life. We would often talk about who would be the first to marry, and we’d fantasize about having a Disney Wedding. When I got engaged, it was a no-brainer. Having someone take almost complete charge of the planning and coordinating of my wedding was a plus! With Disney, I knew I was in good hands.”
A Grand Entrance in Cinderella’s Crystal Coach
Starting the day in true royal fashion, Yvette took stunning portraits with Cinderella’s Crystal Coach, complete with footmen in full regalia. Her wedding ceremony entrance was a dream, riding in on Cinderella’s Coach like a princess.
An Enchanted Garden Wedding Ceremony
The couple hosted their wedding ceremony in the Rose Court Garden at Disneyland Hotel. The ceremony venue was transformed into an enchanted garden with lush floral in pink hues and a bed of scattered petals creating a path down the aisle.
Personal & Cultural Touches
Paying tribute to their heritage, Yvette and Jesus included a Mariachi band as part of their ceremony and reception entertainment, filling the air and creating a romantic ambience.
A Fairy Tale Wedding Reception
Just steps away, the couple hosted their wedding reception at the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion inside the Disneyland Hotel. The venue was transformed from top-to-bottom. Pink up-lighting and a canopy of fairy lights helped to set the atmosphere. Elevated table décor and a custom dance floor created a romantic scene. There were storybook touches throughout the venue, including pages from Disney stories that served as their table markers, and a life-size storybook set as the backdrop for their sweetheart table.
Yvette and Jesus even added to the guest experience with Disney touches like classic Disney Park snacks, a churro bar, and a special visit from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse!
