The couple began their celebration with a first look and portrait session at Disney’s Wildnerness Lodge. They felt that the resort's aesthetic matched the whimsical vibe they were looking to capture on their special day. From here, it was off to the reception.
As Sarah and Avery entered the Festival of the Lion King theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, they were blown away by the beautifully decorated space. "It was an emotional moment for sure!” Sarah shared.
Sarah and Avery said they had been excited about this venue choice both as big fans of the show and for the venue’s ability to host a live band performance. “Our most important aspect was making sure everyone had the time of their life. We wanted it to feel intimate and fun, like a thank you to our guests for the support over the years… so entertainment and overall vibe was big to us!” With warm uplighting, colorful floral accents, and lots of disco ball touches, Sarah & Avery created a space that was fitting of the retro aesthetic they were trying to achieve. Amidst the terracotta-covered tables was even a disco ball photo wall for guests to pose in front of.
After a delicious buffet-style dinner, the disco continued right in front of Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom. The couple had again kept their groovy theme top of mind when planning out the cozy couches and floral cake featured here. They also included unique Disney-themed touches like a visit from Mickey & Minnie who danced the night away with everyone in attendance.
For their final sendoff, Sarah, Avery, and all of their guests had an incredible private fireworks display and fun bubble exit. The newlyweds expressed that it was the “perfect finale to the night of our lives. Every single detail was magical, and our guests still haven’t stopped gushing about it either.”
