After a first date to Disneyland and countless adventures together, Jennifer & Jared got engaged at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and set out on their wedding planning journey. They were inspired by the scenic destination of Lanikuhonua at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa and said “the ocean views, characters, and lazy river were something we knew we wanted to come back to."

When planning their wedding festivities, the couple continued to celebrate with Disney. They hosted a joint bachelor and bachelorette party aboard the Disney Magic, which was an iconic way to involve the I Do Crew in all the excitement. Their trip was filled with dazzling entertainment, delicious food, and lots of fun! When their magical wedding weekend finally arrived, the couple also hosted a welcome lunch at Aulani instead of opting for a rehearsal dinner. Jennifer & Jared stated “this was our way to kick-off the wedding festivities and for everyone to see and meet each other" prior to their wedding day.

Finally, the big day arrived. The island weather was beautiful and the waves that flowed along the Ko O’lina shores were a calm contrast to the excitement that filled the air. The ceremony space was simple and elegant with white chairs facing a Mickey Mouse-shaped arch. Palms, pampas grass, and roses lined either side of the aisle. Another hidden Mickey made from scattered white rose petals greeted guests while a ukulele musician set the mood.

Jennifer and Jared chose to share their first look while Jennifer walked down the aisle. This moment turned out to be Jennifer’s favorite memory of the day as Jared cried happy tears seeing his soon-to-be-wife walking towards him. During their ceremony, more tears were shed as the couple performed a sand ceremony, intertwining their lives forever just like the sand they poured.

With the blowing of a conch shell, Jennifer and Jared were wed. After a photo session along the scenic beach, the couple and their guests enjoyed a beautiful reception. A canopy clear top tent lined with twinkling string lights lit the space. Baskets hung above gorgeous tablescapes with personalized place settings at each seat. These details, along with large letters spelling ‘ALOHA' and even Mickey chopsticks, all created an immersive experience for their guests.

Delicious food options with more nod to their surroundings were also incorporated into Jennifer & Jared’s menu. The couple included sushi, Mickey waffles, and a vibrant cake with hidden Mickeys throughout the design.

This night in paradise could not have been more “perfect,” according to the couple. Their goal had been “to ensure every guest attending would have a great time” and with so many unique and beautifully coordinated aspects throughout their day, that goal was definitely achieved. We could not be happier for Jennifer and Jared. Cheers to love!
