A Stunning Wedding Ceremony at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion
After exploring, Selena and Eugene walked together to Disney’s Wedding Pavilion for their wedding ceremony.
“Our love of all things Disney inspired us to have a Disney wedding. I knew I wanted a ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion because I would always see it out the monorail window and dreamed of getting married there.”
Did you know that every Disney Wedding at Walt Disney World comes with a musician? At Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, you can choose ethereal music from violinist, guitarist, or a live organist.
Their Wedding Reception at the Newly Reimagined Citricos Restaurant
Following their wedding ceremony, Selena and Eugene hosted their brunch reception at Citricos in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The newly reimagined restaurant includes décor inspired by Mary Poppins Returns and transports guests into a whimsical garden scene with touches of flowers, butterflies, and more.
“When I first saw the Citricos remodel, I fell in love with the view of the Grand Floridian, how bright the space was, and the subtle hints of Mary Poppins.”
The couple further elevated their guests’ experience with a full brunch buffet, festive mimosa bar, and music played by a string quartet.
Further surprise and delighting their guests, Mickey Mouse made a special appearance at their wedding reception to help the couple cut the cake and interact with all of their guests!
A Fireworks Dessert Party and Special Attraction Mix-In at EPCOT
The celebration didn’t end there! Selena and Eugene hosted a fireworks dessert party in EPCOT that night, complete with classic Disney snacks and an attraction mix-in on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
“Our dessert party was also very important to us because Epcot is our favorite park and we love Harmonious. Our guests still talk about the food, fireworks, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Comic Rewind ride mix-in! Guest experience was a very important factor when planning.”
“We were really focused on just enjoying our big day and taking everything in. That was most important to us. Luckily our Disney Weddings Team were phenomenal so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were in awe that we planned a wedding via email and phone, and not a single thing went wrong. We trusted the process and it turned out to be the most magical day.”
