It’s World Princess Week, & we have loved seeing all of the ways our Disney Weddings couples have been inspired by the iconic Disney Princesses, like Grace and Joesh, who were inspired by the spirit of Rapunzel & her zest for adventure. Joesh proposed to Grace in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort. With such a special proposal, the couple knew that they wanted their wedding day to be just as magical.
Throughout the planning process, Grace and Joesh were inspired by one of their favorite movies: Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Tangled. From their venue to their wedding day details, they were able to tie in aspects from the movie that spoke to them.
The backdrop of their special day took place at Rose Court Garden. To set the scene for their Tangled inspired day, the couple lined the aisle with beautiful golden lanterns and swirls of pink and white rose petals. String lights twinkled above guests as the wedding began. Grace’s bouquet tied it all together, with light pink, lavender, and white roses to match.
Walking down the aisle was one of the couple’s favorite moments. Grace and Joesh described it as being “emotional and beautiful” and stated that “seeing all of our friends and family supporting our relationship since the beginning was so special to us.”
Following the ceremony and a quick wardrobe change, Grace, Joesh, and all of their guests celebrated at Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. Shades of lavender, pink, and white florals adorned the tables and the cake, which was detailed with the iconic crest of the Kingdom of Corona, the sun, was front and center.
Laughter, friends, family, and dancing were consistent themes throughout the rest of the night. The couple was thrilled to celebrate a “future full of endless possibilities” with all of their loved ones and we couldn’t be happier for them. Congratulations to Grace and Joesh!
