It’s a tale as old as time. Lauren & Sean, high school sweethearts who met while she was cheering for him on the football field, fell in love quickly after becoming friends and never looked back. A timeless love story called for a fairy tale celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.
Lauren always dreamed of getting married at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa after years of travelling to Walt Disney World with her family. This lifelong dream came true with a beautiful Cinderella-inspired wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. “[Walt] Disney World, specifically the Grand Floridian, has always felt like a second home to me, so it truly felt like the most perfect place to start the rest of my life with my forever best friend,” Lauren shared.
An Enchanting Ceremony
Lauren and Sean’s ceremony was truly out of a fairy tale. From an arrival accompanied by a harpist, to walking down the aisle flanked with gold, white, and blue floral arrangements, the couple said “I do” in front of all their family and friends at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. Lauren shared that “For our wedding day, it was really important to Sean and I that we were able to live in the moment and for all of our guests to have fun. Because of how spectacular the Disney Wedding Team is, we were able to do just that. From the moment the day started, Sean and I did not have to worry about a thing.”
A Reception Straight Out of a Storybook
After an unforgettable ceremony and being whisked away on Cinderella’s Coach, it was time to celebrate! For their wedding reception, Lauren & Sean wanted to tie in the Cinderella theme into every element. From a gold monogrammed dance floor, to elegant draping & a sparkling chandelier, their reception transported their guests into their fairy tale. “When Sean and I first saw the room, our jaws were on the floor. The Disney Wedding Team truly brought every vision to life. Whether it was big or small, they did not miss a beat.” With the inclusion of a seven-layer cake with bow detailing & topped with a castle, no detail was missed.
“The day was filled with so much love and laughter, and as soon as the music started the dance floor was never empty. Sean and I got to dance the night away and share our love with all of our favorite people in our favorite place. Our wedding day was truly the best day ever and a real life fairytale.”
