Holidays are a time for celebration, and with the added décor and festivities around the Disney Parks it can be an extra magical time to host a wedding. Sarah and Benjamin’s holiday wedding in EPCOT captured the romance of the season beautifully—from festive portraits, to wedding attire inspired by the holiday, to magical moments throughout their celebration.

For Sarah and Benjamin, The Christmas holiday has always been special season—even choosing December at Walt Disney World as the backdrop for their proposal. So, when it came time to start wedding planning, a Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding became the perfect choice! “We…decided there was no more perfect venue than the place we have both been visiting our entire lives and have the best memories, Walt Disney World”, shared the Sarah and Benjamin.

The UK Pavilion, decorated for the Christmas holiday, set the scene for Sarah and Benjamin’s Disney wedding. From the sweetest first look at the iconic red telephone booths, to romantic portraits in the UK gardens, and a ceremony at the gazebo—Sarah and Benjamin took full advantage of the immersive venue.

The UK Courtyard is a breathtaking wedding ceremony venue, especially with the added holiday décor! Sarah and Benjamin worked with their Disney Wedding Planner and floral team to enhance the gazebo with specialty champagne draping and added Christmas details.

To add to the magic, Sarah made her grand entrance to the UK Pavilion in Cinderella’s Coach. Joining the rest of her wedding party and guests in front of the gazebo for a personalized wedding ceremony.

Sarah and Benjamin included memorable moments throughout their ceremony, including having Major Domo present their wedding rings in a glass slipper, and incorporating a unique sandwich unity ceremony where they built and shared a PB&J sandwich together.

From there, Sarah and Benjamin took Cinderella’s Coach to their reception venue at Italy Isola. Sarah remembered, “riding in Cinderella’s Coach around the World Showcase was so special. Waving at the guests and truly feeling like royalty!”

The holiday wedding theme continued to their brunch reception, with red floral, gold and glittery details and festive statement pieces like a velvet green couch for their sweetheart table.

But the celebration didn’t end there! The couple concluded their special day with a firework dessert party at Disney’s Grand Floridian Sago Cay, with a special visit from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Sarah shared that “The most important aspect of our wedding day was our guests’ experience! There were around 30 of our closest family and friends who traveled for our big day and we wanted to ensure that they had the most magical time.”
